Yeah, the black ones are what got me interested in the style, but this white one, when I saw it instantly reminded me of the koenigsegg trevita.

Triveta ring minus the price :P and thanks! It is pretty badass.

That's cool. I haven't seen a white one and if you're anything like me, you don't like having something that everyone else has. Very nice choice.

And here I thought I had a cool ring...
Do you think I could get the diamonds moved to a carbon fiber setting?

Where is this from, and can they do custom weaves?

For that price, no, you do get a few colours to choose from.

Since we're showing off our jewellery, here's my wedding band. Taken in glorious LaptopPotatoCam, it's just a plain old platinum band.

This comes off as sexist... But they have pink ones too! (I would probably wear one if it wasn't for the white on white that I found)

I bet that platinum one cost 10x as much. If I was rich I would probably be platinuming it up as well.

I'll have to get in touch with them and see. Not saying for sure when, but I'll be nearing this point in life possibly later this year.

For the price, it does have one flaw, you can see where the inlay was cut. I recommend getting one that has the fake diamond since it doesn't have the misc line interupting the pattern.

I can't remember exactly how much the matching bands cost, but it was for sure more than $85! This was back in the days before the mortgage and the kids. :)

The big thing for me is that I've been itching to find an all carbon fiber ring. Because I work in electronics primarily. I can't really have any metal jewelry. Jewelry as a whole is a grey area, but not having metal would be ideal.
As far as the weave, I'd love to do a custom houndstooth weave, because that's something I really like.
I can totally get on board with one of these rings for myself. The polished/blue is likely what I would get if I can't get a custom weave and all carbon. It's a ring I have every intention of wearing for the rest of my life, so I'm going to look for as close to what I want as I can get.

Sick ring. I have the one with the red and black carbon fiber inlay. It's a sweet ring and you'll love it. Make sure you polish it every few months, though, or the metal will lose it's shine over a few years.

I thought that raw carbon fiber was conductive?
That said, the black ones on that website are ceramic and probably suit your needs perfectly.

Yes, but if it's finished with a good protective clear coat/resin, I'm hoping it wont.
The ceramic is something I was also looking at. I have seen some raw carbon fiber bands, but that's not really what I'm looking for.

Not bad. Never thought of going with Carbon Fibre.
I went with a Mokume Gane ring with white gold and palladium, similar to this:

I was going to get a black ceramic one originally, but the thought of potentially chipping or scraping a black surface coat off killed the idea pretty quickly.

That is neat, I was looking at damascus steel rings which are similar, but far more durable (worries of my stainless pinky ring eating soft metals).

You'd be surprised how hardy they are. I've had mine for 2.5 years now and apart from a couple of small scratches it is flawless.
